Electro Harmonix - DMM Problems

I bought a non-working dmm to fix-up.  What its doing is letting through clean signal in bypass no probs, when the effect is switched on,  the clean signal is present when you use the blend control as it should be, but there is no delay AS such.  You can make the effect go into self-oscillation by turning the delay knob, this is very audible and sounds as delay should but it is not echoing the guitar sound?

Is there a bias control for any of the chips?  I know I sound like a broken record, but on my Electric Mistress build, if the bias was off, I got zero effect.  Clean signal would pass, but that's it.

It has about 8 trimpots but I'm unsure what does what lol?
