Still trying to fix-up an old DMM I bought non-working.  There is a kinda echo present but it is more of a distorted mess.  Upon further inspection, I am quite sure that the mains transformer has been subbed for a UK one at some stage.  I'm now wondering if it is producing insufficient power to the board, measuring at the 2 outputs, the voltage is around 13v.  This seems low but I am not sure?  Also, can anyone confirm where the output of the board is?

It is a DMM with no trem, chorus etc, just a 'squelch' switch.

Any help is much appreciated!

I still am unable to clean-up the incredibly distorted sound from the DMM.  I'm sure it's under-powered but am not sure how much it needs?  There's 2 taps of the transformer, both around 12v ish.  Can I give it 18v to test from 2 9v batteries?  Totally confused whether it wants 2 different suppiles to the 2 transformer places or..............?

Help Please!

Cheers,
Nick,
