ROG RUBY PROBLEMS

Hey guys, I'm new here (first post, though I've been  hanging around for about a month). I've already learned a ton of stuff by reading all the post, so thanks for all the info. OK...I have built a ROG RUBY and am having problems. All I get from it is a fuzzy/scratchy noise. No signal at all, can't even hear the guitar. Another thing I have noticed is that if I turn the volume pot on the guitar down to about 2, I get a popping sound. I tried a few guitars and it happens with all of them. I have looked over and checked my layout , and everything looks ok. Any ideas? Thanks.
