some questions about clipping diode switches

I'd like to add some diode switching options to the MXR Distortion +

I've looked at the Warp control ideas on AMZ site and read as many posts I can find on installing switches for different diode options.  These ones seem to apply:

Ideally, I'd like to have the ability to switch between Ge and Si and between Symmetrical and Asymmetrical clipping

Can I do this with a relatively simple switching layout or do I need a series of switches with different grounds etc. ?

My guess is that I would need 3 switches - an SPDT to switch between SYM and ASYM, followed by another SPDT in the SYM circuit to switch between Si and Ge; and a DPST shunt / padding resistor in the ASYM circuit using the layout described by Mark Hammer in the first link above

Is there a better way ?

If not, I may just install either the Si/Ge switch or the SYM/ASYM switch
