Lauriers Handy Dandy Little Vibrato ??

Just wondering if anyone has successfully built one of this chaps circuits ?
I seem to remember " don't work" coming up once or thrice !
I'd like to have a go at the Vibrato if poss ...

I seem to remember someone building the vibrato circuit and saying it just sounded like a trem.

That's because it is a trem :)  Another example of vibrato/tremolo confusion.

Anyway, C5 and C7 look out of place to me.

I built it. It's basically just a tremolo. My main frustration with it is that when the effect was engaged, there was a large volume drop. I gave up on it at that point because it wasn't special enough to pursue any further.

Scroll down , the Vibrato circuit is at the bottom , unless you're allready looking at that, trems are indeed
at the top .... my bad !

The dont work factor has come up more than once, I wish they did there is a lot of useful info. there.

It's a single stage phaser without the clean signal mixed in. It is a vibrato, but... subtle. You could hear a more pronounced effect by having, for example, the phase 45 with the clean signal line lifted. Better yet with a 4 stage phaser.

PDF for Ropez at Tonepad's shows a simple mod for turning a phaser into a vibrato. Univibe already has a switch for it and Handy-Dandy is the simplest of the sort.
