Can I drive anLED with the EA trem's lfo?

hi!
Another question, I'd like to find a way to drive an LED with the LFO from the EA tremolo (I built the lfo before realising that I could just use the lfo from the tremouluus lun which actually uses an LED).
The voltage after the depth pot (which as far as my build goes) varies the way it should, between 0 and 0.45 volts approx.
I tried making something out of a 2n3094 but it doesn't work...
Could anyone help me figure that out?

The way they jammed one in there on the runoff groove version is that they put it in between the collector of Q3 and the resistor up there and lowered the 15k to a 10k

Yeah I saw that and it works on mine but I'd like to have some kind of depth control...
