Are there more known schematics/info for the eariy sixties pedals like the fuzztone/zonk machine/vox tb mkI...
I would like to build a rare fuzzer after finishing a great Soulbender clone...

Now the OT bit...
Somebody might remember that I had lots of problems with building stuff last year, but I got over it, 'cause I turned into more simple circuits and more precise soldering and finished a few good fuzzes and sold them... BTW I bought the British Peak Atlas Semiconductor analyser, and it has been a great help for me... The only drawback is it's price, friggin' expensive...

TBH I think you'd struggle to not find a schematic for almost all old fuzzes, I've certainly seen them for the ones you mentioned.  :)

Moonface

Yup.. But I meant those as an example... I wasn't looking for those schemos...

Name some your interested in

Hmmm.... Sola ToneBender MkI and something early and rare... I don't know well the early devices, so I can't name them...

If you're after fuzzes check out Fuzz Central there's loads of good stuff there.

They do have the schematics for the effects on the left. You do know this right?

Er ..... yes, but there's a whole "schematics & PCB's" link on the left that used to contain
many dozens of fuzz schems, not just the handful in the list .....

Oh, damn that stinks.

What I'd be interested in seeing is more fuzz schematics from old hobby magazine scans 1960-70's.

Harry, you need to go to Casey's Effect Page. He has a bunch of the golden oldies on his site from magazines that are just what you're talking about. I have built several of them, so if you have biasing issues or whatever, I probably have proper biasing for the transistors that I had to sub for the ones that are long gone that they specified in the original units. The RCA Fuzz, Peachy Fuzz, Selmer Buzz Tone and the Triggered Square Wave Fuzz come to mind. More than likely my information would be available on a search, because I usually  do Build Reports.

Harry

Basicaudio, I'm checking this site out right now.

Jmusser, I've seen Casey's site. I'll definately have to check your build reports.
