Hi

I've just built a GeneralGuitarGadgets ver. Microamp that sounds good but it pops when i switch..

but looking at the schematic theres already an input pop resistor, isnt there?

What can i do to eliminate the pop?

Thanks

Make sure you have the output cap in the right way.

Try replacing the input cap (use a polyester/greencap  type).

does it have the 1M ohm resistors at input and output? those are supposed to reduce popping...

when using a pull down, will it work correctly if you just place it between the tip and sleeve of the input/output jacks?

nope, you need it between the bypass switch and the input of the circuit.
