Here is a vero layout for the mxr envelope filter. yes it is a big layout  :icon_biggrin:, but only 8 holes and 1 strip bigger then the phase 45, so not that big.

It is not verified yet, so please if you find any error please let me know, also let me know if you build this pedal from this layout So I can update the verification status.

Very nice job! 8)

Packing the original into a 1590B with two full sized pots was a very cute layout. This is a very funky circuit. Be sure to wear your sunglasses.

It must be possible to fit this vero in a 1590BB box, although I didn't try it yet.

BTW, does anyone have some soundclips of the mxr envelope filter? i couldn't find them with the search function.

I just finished my GGG MXE EF on PCB.

I included the component substitutions that are mention over and over again on the Tonepad build reports.
Of course I built it, notice the tonesuck and loss of output THEN read the TP build reports.

It definently sounds fuller and with no level dip with the substitutions.

R1 - 1k
R2 - 100k
R16 - 68k
C2 - 1uF Tantelum/Ceramic
C4 - .01uF

Or better yet, checkout the build reports:

It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.

I'm just giving the layout a go right now...

Shouldn't there be a trace cut under D2?

There is a trace cut un der d2, allthough it is a little hard to see. The diode is red and the trace cut is red.

Good luck! Please let me know if you find any issues.
