After finding out that my StratoBlaster would work good as a buffer I made a pedal to bypass all the pedals in my effects chain with one click of a switch.  I put the Strato circuit at the input of the pedal which can be bypassed with the first stomp switch and an effects switch for bringing in the effects string with the second stomp switch.
I used two 9 volt SPDT relays to engage the bypass circuit on and off and another relay to bypass the buffer. (Couldn't find 9 volt DPDT relays or switches at RS.)  It works good although I wouldn't use the relays in any other pedals.  They're too expensive and most likely will suck power to engage the coils.
Take a look at the pictures below.

Just in case anyone is interested in the circuit design using relays as a bypass I posted a picture.  The relays can be substituted using 3PDT or 2PDT switches also.
Sorry for the crude drawing.

I actually powered the Stratoblaster circuit with a separate battery.  I messed around with this bypass pedal for a couple of hours the other day and it works pretty good.  No popping during switching and I like to be able to bypass the buffer if I'm only using a couple of pedals at one time.  If using a wall wart I wonder if this circuit could be expanded to bypass effects individually also.  I noticed geofex had a nice switching circuit already designed which I'm sure works better than this.  I just thought this would be a cool thing to try.
