Shouldn't this work instead of a true bypass mil thing? (pinks are in and out, blues are effect in and out)

I know it's not possible because no one has suggested it but hey, it made me feel smart for a little while.

Is that a plastic washing basket?

In 'bypass' your signal is connected to FX in and V+ simultaneously.  Won't work.

Because your LED will always be lit, it is always connected to the middle lug and therefore the ground at the other end.

is it possible to get into the switch and physically break the link between the top right lug and the middle right one without permenantly damaging the switch. (i have no money ;D)
