For simplicity/performance, you might like some of the ROG options, ie Little Gem, LG MkII, and Ruby...[iirc?]
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

cools links, looks like an interesting site.
I might have to have a go at that 5 watt amp

hi all, thx for the links!  ;D

I always wanted to do a layout for one of these amps to try them, but never found enough time for that.

So if one of you build something, it would be nice to see a layout...

Try the Noisy Cricket Amp.  It's a decent sounding practice amp and with a 12" speaker it sounds better than my cheap 15 watt Esteban amp.  With the Professor Tweed (Runoffgroove.com) on it sounds like a little tube amp overdrive.

Great site, great logo, and great Motto.

Anyone here build the "Ultra Class A Superdrive Power Amp" that's listed on that site?

(sure enough, just last week I tossed an audio transformer that would have worked in that... "I'll never use this.....")   :P
