I'm trying to get my head around exactly how to put a pot
around the diodes to vary the amount of clipping.

Specifically, as any resistance interacts with the existing
470k ohms.

Anyone done it? Thoughts? Simple 100k pot across
the diodes to bypass them out of the circuit?
Or put the pot's resistance in series with
the diodes?

tnx -

  Will reduce clipping.
  See AMZ labs notebook

I see several references to controlling the clip at the output.
But I don't see it being done at the collector to base point
in a transistor circuit.

I do see it wrapped around the feedback in an op amp.
Same practice with an NPN transistor?
