After reading the many positive reviews of this circuit, I have etched a board from the tonepad layout and will be building it soon.
I have a couple of questions though;

1) Does the blinking LED on light when the unit is engage? If so, this could act fine as a status LED as well.
2) What the Heck does the name mean??!  :icon_confused:

Thanks in advance for your time.

1)If i'm not wrong, that led lights blinks at the rate of the lfo speed.

2) Tremulus come from latin which means shrem, which in greek means.. too long to explain, sry ::)

Bye bye

hope it helps

Dann over at 4MS can answer about the name... and yes, like DAC was saying the led on the board blinks the lfo speed, so that you can be oh so prosfessional and adjust your speed BEFORE you kick it on... you'll need a seperate status led... I'm just trying to hold back the tears about the box design you're going to do for this one...:)
Breadboards are as invaluable as underwear - and also need changed... -R.G.

Okay. I'm not sure if I get it.....
The LFO speed LED stays lit, even when the pedal in not engaged??

yes, from the time the circuit receives power, the lfo light blinks... so that you can see what speed it is, adjust it to fit that song, THEN turn it on.... A nice feature...IMHO

Just got it after 2 min of search:

Quotewith a 3DPT switch, set up 2 parts of it for the regular bypass buisness, and use the 3rd part to connect/disconnect the lfo LED out of the circuit (so its both the indicator led and it shows the lfo's speed)

If not, it wont turn off ;)

bye bye

We'll have to see how far it gets, not all of 'em get enclosures.
Don't know if I need or even want all of those knobs and adjustments.
Hell, I took the volume pot off of my EA Trem and made it a trim on the board to make it more simple.  :icon_lol:

I have a lune question of my own; When the speed switching mod is applied does the fine pot become the second optional speed?

Is that a plastic washing basket?

It may have been upgraded, but if I recal, the dual speed mod just changed lfo the timing cap.  you could add another pot for 2nd speed control,  (disabeling the main speed control) but fine is just a smaller pot in series with a larger pot, and I don't include it.
