Was solderiing my MT-2 (switching diodes) and when i went to put it back, the brown wire thats connected to 19  was hanging loose

Thanks in advance.

I'm going under the assumption that by 19 you mean pad/hole 19 on the board as Boss numbers them.  Any how, I took a peak in 3 of my Boss pedals and on all the brown wire runs to the input jack - I believe it is to the tip, but don't quote me on it.  The convention will most likely hold true on all Boss pedals.  Wish I could give you specifics on the MT-2 but mine is at the rehearsal space.

Yea i was guessing it went to the input jack. Im thinking its the one with the white wire running to it. It seems theres some broken solder there, so thats what ill try

I checked the schematic. It cames from the power jack (negative) and goes to the input jack.

and the winner is..

THE TIP!

yea, white wire, tip of the input.

Now, this thing has 2 wires coming from the switch. The black one, i assume is the ground, has never been connected to anything, yet this pedal still works. Uh, why?

MadSkillzMan

in response to that, that black wire is the ground. Fixed that now!

Problem guys!

I can get power from the battery, but when hooked up to a functional DC adaptor, nothing.

Im truly stumped. Is it wired wrong? or did i fry something?

Can you post a picture?  Just can't comprehend stuff without visual reference...
