Can't be done can it?  Thought about pairing my vibe and PNP pos gnd fuzz face but unless I change the grounding of the fuzz and risk the potential for oscillations I assume it isn't possible.

Does this mean the Captain Coconut has a neg gnd fuzz?

Of course it can be done.

You need two independent power supplies, one +9V and one -9V. Then they can share a ground. The one ground is then both a negative ground to the +9V and a positive ground to the -9V.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Then I'm back in business!!!  Separate power supllies is not an issue since the 69 Fuzz will have a battery and the Vibe (once I'm satisfies with the tuning) will have a DC adapter going into a charge pump.  Thanks......
