conductive plastic pots....

I just scored a box of 20 brand new 10k pots from Vishay for just 10 euro's! (12 usd)
They are made of conductive plastic, is that like cermet? or something else?
He only had 10k value, but they are 12mm square and look very solid.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to cermet/conductive plastic in stompbox use?
He said he's got quite some left (boxes of 20) 10k linear or 10k dual ganged linear
both at 10 euro's for a box.
So if anyone's interested, I could arrange something...

I use Vishay pots (can't remember the type) and I think they're ok, although I tried to cut the plastic shaft on one and inside it broke. Not sure how useful 10k is - 100k seems more useful.

I use Omeg pots.  They too have a conductive plastic track.  Very quiet.  The Omeg ones are sealed (no dust can get in to make them noisy over time) and they have a very pro feel to them when turning the shaft (more like turning the knob on a hi-fi).

Never heard of this brand, but should be fine.
