I would like to start by thanking everyone at the forum for helping me debug and mod my shaka tube.  Is it possible to post mp3's on the forum without a 3rd party file holder?  I would like to share a sound clip.

I originally found it to be too trebly, so I adjusted the last coupling capacitor and the input capacitor from .01uf to .022uf, and also added a 370pf silver mica capacitor across the volume pot.  perfect.

now i would like to finish the box.  A while back I saw a traynor speaker cabinet in a music store.  The previous owner had covered the tolex with news paper and magazine clippings, and sealed it with shallak.  The result was very cool, a psychedelic colage.  I was thinking of doing something simmilar to the hammond 1590BB enclosure.  Does anyone have any ideas of how to do this? what kind of glue will take to aluminum?

A primer (XIM is excellent, it is specifically for non-ferrous metals) sprayed on the box will work. Put your newspaper and such on the sealer while still wet, then spray with a clear topcoat, such as Rustoleum when dry. Any clear paint will work, won't matter much over paper.
