Newbie here!
I figured changing my LPB-2 to true bypass with a 3PDT switch would be a "beginner's" place to start. Well, didn't seem to work to well. Not working. What I found strange was that the red lead from the battery originally goes to the sleeve of the output jack and the black lead went to the on/off switch. Are these PNP? It has a FS39666 transistor.

I changed the input switch to a stereo jack. I am not using an LED. The picture below is the original layout and I drew in what I had done. Tell me what you think.

RED: Input
GREEN: Effect Input
YELLOW: Ground?
BLUE:  Output
BROWN: Effect Output
BLACK: A jumper to ground
TEAL: From sleeve of input jack to 10k resistor

I also added a wire from the ring of the input stereo jack to the sleeve of the mono output jack (this is where the red battery lead and 430k resistor connect to)

Here is the pic without my connections. Feel from to add what you think will work.

Yes, I had looked at the schematic and layout. My problem (confusion) lies with the fact that the red lead from the battery clip goes to the sleeve of the mono output jack. My pedal does not have the 4M7 resistor but that's not a problem. Some more insight would help!

I believe this to be a positive ground circuit...that red lead on the jack is probably ground.  I searched for "39666 transistor" on Google, it is a PNP so that makes sense.   Just reverse the polarized parts of the switch layout (ground=positive, "hot" lines = negative).  All the other stuff is the same for the signal path.
I'd recommend checking the layout for the switch on the GGG site, linked above...something 'don't look right' in what you've got there, but it's late & I can't figure out which way the switch you've drawn operates, time to hit the sack!
Good Luck

I goofed on the transistor, its a FS36999. I hope you'll decide to take another look when your not tired!
