hey first of all i really hate doing this as i know its annoying
(i shouldn't take advantage of time other people have spent properly learning how electronics work)

I decided to do the the tremulus lune vero as my second project but had real trouble with the wiring  ::) (i should have taken it slower)
i asked on the forum about the external rate led and was shown a diagram of the 3pdt layout that allowed it to turn on and off with the effect as well as flash so a sat down to do the off board wiring like this

but it did not work (so i very thouroughly checked out the vero and scored all the channels to make sure there were no solder bridges)
the  sound i got was a rhythmic tick that i could speed up or slow down
and in bypass i got guitar sound

so then i heard the ground does not need to be connected between the jacks in a metal enclosure so i sniped that
and tried out some other wirings but i just could not get it to work

so my QUESTION is did i do something stupid like get the orientation of the 3pdt incorrect or wire it completely wrong

thanks

Chris
