Hi everybody, I need your help with finding some sub parts for a ring stinger clone.

Does anybody know about a substitute for a IRFU9024?

Ans is it possible to use thishttp://www.banzaieffects.com/TM006-Transformer-pr-18824.html transformer for it?

And at last I have a question, I have a lot of 16V 0,5W zener diodes, can one of these be used instead of 15V 0,5W?

Thanks,
I really need the help, so thanks everybody who can help!

Your going to have to post a schematic, I don't feel like finding one. Isn't the transformer like 20:1? On the ring modulator I designed, I used 10k:10k transformers... I'm not sure about the diodes either... What are they being used for?

chokeyou

i bought a set of transformers from hammond for it (i think) it's been a long time and I never got around to using them. Its the same transformers used in the original though. If you wanna buy em off me, I'd be ok with that.

here are the schematic,

I was told that they could probably work since they have the same values,
Primary       Secondary
20kΩ 1kΩCT.

I'm not quite shure about the diodes, either.

Thanks alot for your answers

transformers i bought from some place in england. a real PITA.

the weird transistor i replaced with a BS250, i think. works fine. check pinout!

diodes, no clue. finding a suitable zener wasn't a serious problem for me.

You can replace the IRFU with any p-channel mosfet (e.g. BS250P or any other with a low rds). For the diodes in the ring mod you can use any germanium diode (shottky should work too). 16V Zener is fine (basically any zener will do that is below the maximum voltage of the Mosfet...and higher than V+ of course). The 20k:1k transformer at Banzai should be fine too.
