I don't know if this really counts as stompbox DIY, but it does pertain to Guitar amps. . .

I want to add a line out to this little mini amp i bought (one of the Fender ones), so I can run it to a small cab i have with an 8" speaker in it. How would I go about doing this? If i wanted to turn it into nothing but a head could I just run the + and - speaker connections to a jack of some sort? If so, what kind?

Sorry, I couldnt find anything by searching.

I have the Mini Hot Rod Deluxe, and it uses the same IC than the Marshall MS-2 if I remember well. But the input circuit is different (of course...).

But there are a couple mistakes on that schematic. The 510 ohms is used only for the Headphones.

You can use a bigger speaker instead of the original one.

You can do this http://www.netads.com/~meo/Guitar/Amps/Kalamazoo/Mods/ezlo.html or this http://www.diyguitarist.com/GuitarAmps/LineOutBox.htm fo the line-out
