Hi!
The italian diyer is back...  8)
I decided to build my very second pedal, following the Distortion+ I created a couple of weeks ago.
It's another Distortion+, vero layout again, with a clipping diode switch. Here it is:

The pure Dist+ layout is the A. Carrel's one, untouched (apart from the extra-cut needed) and working. But I wonder if the wiring layout is correct: i mean the 3PDT, the DPDT (diode switch), and the ground wiring. It's my first attempt in writing down a layout by myself, "decoding" wthat I read from this forum and other stuff on the web, so I'm not so sure...  ???
A very big THANKS from Italy to the patience guy who will answer!  :icon_biggrin:
Bye,

just one remark, instead of adding 4 strips at the beginning for diodes you could:
a) put them in the lower right part of the board
b) mount them on the switch
Other than that it should be fine
Cheers
The new version of DIY Layout Creator is out, check it out here

On my modded Dist+ I just mounted them on the switches (all five of them) as they are only weenie little things.

Cheers,
