So, I'm just getting into building some effects (I'm starting with a simple boost and then going from there).  Anyway, at some point,  I would like to try my hand at building a tremolo with a tap-temp on it. Kind of like the Cusak "Tap-A-Whirl".  So far, I have been unsucessful at finding anything to point me in the right direction.  Any thoughts?

The God is right about the search button.
In fact this came up just yesterday about a delay with tap tempo.

The short answer is...
tap tempo is not in the DIY lexicon.
So you won't find any project with tap tempo.

I guess we are all slackers ::)
It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.

If you want tap tempo you're going to have to get into microcontrollers, and from there on then its rathers simple compared to the other stuff you can do with microcontrollers.

That's the thing, isn't it?  A tap tempo LFO isn't hard, conceptually.  I should change my avatar to a sloth.

EDIT: Oops.  As David pointed out in another thread, it looks like Transmogrifox contributed one back in March.

Seems to me that bending down and turning the rate contol might just be easier :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
