Has anyone used the one piece clips from mouser: 351-0001-RC for T1's and 351-0003-RC for T1 3/4's ?   I pretty much hate the two piece style.   :icon_rolleyes:   http://www.mouser.com/catalog/627/78.pdf  Xicon

Haven't used the 0003s.

I use the 1001s all the time, they're metal and plenty tough. The 1000s are black plastic and I've broken a couple of them. Both of these are actually two-piece, you have to thread the LED into the rubber stopper before soldering your leads in. On the plus side, they're pretty forgiving if you don't get your mounting hole 100% accurate.

If the 1000s were made in black plated metal, I'd probably use nothing else. Oh well. As my Dad used to say, wish in one hand, crap in the other, see which one fills up first....

I use the one piece style on everything, either size.
The two piece style doesn't seem to fit the thickness
of a Hammond box.

Thanks, I will give them a try.  I've only been happy with the two piece on sheet metal boxes like E-H pedals.
