Boss CE-2 mods?

I've been looking around for some mods for a Boss CE-2 chorus pedal that would give it a better sound. The only thing I could find was this site that sells a kit: http://www.t-mods.com/#CE2Chorus

Besides swapping the op-amp does anyone know what these mods are exactly? I'd prefer not to spend $25 on parts I could get much cheaper.

1) Think about what you want it to do differently and ask people how to do it.  Don't just do mods because you want to do mods.

2) Check out the Corrral Chorus clone of the CE-2 at Tonepad.  All the mods you will need are illustrated there.

Primarily I'm interested in getting a more hi-fi sound and lower noise. I'd like to know which components I can swap out for better quality ones.
