cross reference parts for elec-mistress non-delux

hi, i'm building the non-deluxe electric-mistress find at http://www.freeinfosociety.com/electronics/schemview.php?id=383

just can't find the 2n5037 , i think it's a 12 volt regulator, so i thinking of using a 78L12

but for the 2N3563...i really don't know...it's look like a zener diode but can't figure witch one to use....

any clue?

You right, the easiest way is to replace
the 741,
100K res,
2 zener
pass transistor

by 78L12, 12V/0.1A regulator

Try 2N4354 for the 2N5037.

2n5037 is a NPN
and
2n4354 is a PNP

my problem by replacing all the 741 , resistor, zener diode   with a NTE950 (12 volt regulator) or lm78L12
is the little /%?/&!"("  &*/?*  "(())) !!!!!  connection between the 741(pin 3 +) and the trimmer 100k in the bottom....

my guess is : 
Vin is 18 to 24 volts  (pin1)     
Vout is 12 volts  (pin3)
ground (pin2) go to trim 100k/ resis 18k / resis 30k

is it how to convert the 741 / 2n3563 / 100 k    with a NTE950-12 volt reg

2n5037 is wrong, it must have been 2n5087 - I'll check on the various versions I have.
