There is the Runoffgroove Thunderchief which is an emulation of the 1959 which has the same preamp as the 1987.  The only difference between the actuall 1959 and 1987 amps is one is 100 watts and the other is 50 watts.

Now, what's this 1979slp?  I've never heard of such a model, unless you meant the 1959.  :icon_wink:

Yes ,you're right ;D model is 1959slp...Is there a major deference in the circuit between the ''super lead tremolo'' version and the std version of this vintage model? ???

I'm sure there is, the tremolo circuit being the biggest obvious difference.  The basic design would be the same otherwise, just some part value differences most likely.  Find the schematics and compare.  Dr. Tube is a great resource for them.

I have just finished building the lxh2 marshall simualtor
It was designed to simulate a Marshall JMP 50W head
Sounds amazing very close to the original
I will upload soundclips to my website as soon as I can myabe on friday.

Be careful its a +9V/-9V circuit so you will need to batteries, I didnt knew that so my didnt worked until lukely Marty Mart told me.

Any doubt just ask  ;)

Thank you very much for your info and your time,i will try ROG's circuit and lxh2 for sure!!!I can also see that this ''Plexizer'' idea is getting more and popular...I guess i'll just have to try all these circuits in order to find out which is best suited for my needs... ;D

The Brown Sound in a Box II (BSIABII) is also designed to sound like an old Marshall and people have reported many many good opionions from their builds of it.
