Amp difficulties and Speaker Simulators

Hey, all.  This seemed the most appropriate forum to ask this in, and I wanted to bring the question here since many people in here really know what they're talking about.

So I just got a new amp, and it sounds great.  But when I plug in some headphones, of course, they dont' have nearly the same frequency response as the amp speaker (at least, I'm led to believe this is the problem), and sound very fuzzy and treble-y.  Would there be something like a speaker simulator or even some sort of EQ I could stick between the amp and my headphones for when I want to play quietly?  The tone doesn't need to be perfect; I just want to get it to more closely approximate that of the regular amp so I don't have to fiddle with the amp setting every time I want to use 'phones.

Thanks in advance.
