upgrade 12mm pots? Is Alpha as good as it gets?

I need to replace a couple of pots in a Boss pedal:

I see there are Alpha equivalents in 12mm, but I was hoping to buy some "upgrades", maybe ALPS or CTS.  I've had no luck finding CTS equivalents, and the closest ALPS equivalent I've found is Mouser 688-RK12L1210C0K (p.541 fig.D).  That ALPS has 6 pins, and I just need three.

So what do you recommend?  Are the Alphas plenty fine, no worries?  Or is there something better out there, and if so, what and where?

Another thing- the pots have taper codes A, B, and C.  I understand that at one time C meant log, but how does that fit in with the others being marked A and B?

The values I need are 20KB, 50KA, and 250KC.

Thanks!!!

I have had no complaints about the Alpha RV16 series that I have been selling for some years. Unfortunately, I only have them with solder terms, not the PC pins shown. I Do carry the "C" taper, which is reverse log, and probably not available elsewhere. 50K audio is no problem. 25K is as close as I get to a 20K linear.

I have been using them in years, and had no problem. Yes, the Reverse log tapper is somewhat hard to find, but if you're ordering in large quantities, they would make it for you (the factory).

Thanks guys!  Anybody else with any suggestions before I order some Alphas?

Also, it looks like Mouser only has the 50KA model, and SD says he only has solder-terminal models.  Is there any supplier that carries Alpha's full range which will take small-quantity orders?
