I finally did it, we're confirmed for January 14th 2007 at 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley.

It's a swap meet for musicians and for people doing DIY electronics, so musical instruments and accessories are welcome, as well as test equipment, components, etc.

I'll be giving at least one talk (on "Troubleshooting Your Gig Rig, or What To Do Before You Call the Tech").

Tables for selling are $10; entry for buyers is free.

Sellers should arrive by 10AM to register and set up; buyers are allowed in at 11. Activities should be over by 3PM.

This should be the event for anyone near enough to make it.

I'll be selling a bunch of test gear. VTVM's, function generators, oscilloscope, etc. Also miscellaneous parts such as used tested good tubes. And teflon wire. Yes. There will be teflon wire.

Do It Yourself!

Seriously, this one is happening because we're making it happen. 924 Gilman is a warehouse space dressed up as a punk club.

All you need is a venue of some kind.
