When did they change the design?  The last one I bought had the side lugs instead of 6 on top.  The new lugs seem flimsy...sigh...they're probably fine.

They didn't change the design. The 316PP has almost always been available with side or top lug options. It just depends on what options were selected when the order was put into the manufacture.

Thanks.  That I did not know.  I've only been familiar with the side lug version.
