Hello all,

My name is Josh, and I am a keyboard player (!) that enjoys messing around with tone.  I play primarily piano and Hammond organ, and dabble in guitar and bass.  I am from NE Texas.  Glad to be on the forum!

I went parts shopping for my first project last night, the Little Gem from ROG.  My problem is with the capacitor listed as .047uF.  Radio Shack has all of these different capacitors:

.0047uF
4.7uF
4700uF

But they do NOT have something listed as .047uF.  My question is, is one of the three listed caps the same one that I am looking for, possibly labeled differently?  Or all three just plain wrong, and I need to keep looking?

Thanks for your help,

Josh

Probably *an input cap? IWCase you could just socket it...using larger values will not roll off any bass...provided it's actually * we're discussing.
I like to keep an old monitor PCB with salvage parts handy for just such occasions...RS Used to carry greenies marked '473' which is .047uf, if you can find .022uf [223] [for less bass let] in or/ .1uf [104] would let more bass in.
