Interesting switch...not sure how useful it would be...

I've been looking at these switch boxes at JB Saunders for about a year now... I thought they'd be perfect for a couple Ruby amps.  I made an offer today and brought them home.  I took them apart and found this interesting switch in each one...  It has two throws and a whole bunch of poles grouped in threes.  It's a network switch box so it has 8 inputs and two sets of 8 outputs connected...and a bunch more outputs available... (notice that only half the switch is populated)
Any ideas on what to do with switches like this?  ...maybe just salvage the wire!

Thought it was interesting...wanted to share...

Is it like a 8X spdt switch??, maybe for theROG matchless simulator.

You could use it to switch between 2 sets of pots for some semblance of presetability.

If it isn't broken, take it apart and fix it!

there are some that are made to switch between several sets of all sorts of computer connectors.  the switches themselves are designed to easily add some sort of "wafer" that adds another pole or whatever.  lots of possibilities!

I picked up a couple of old switch boxes like that at the local used-computer-stuff store.  5 bucks each.  I was going to pick up more, but those chassis are such a pain to drill through, it's hardly worth it!

I used the switches in an arcade cabinet I built, to switch the whole mess of wire connections from the controls to two different devices.  Having like 25 poles was handy.
