Hi
Could someone please have a look at the above to see if its feasable. I want to build it into a tiny box which can be attached directly to my guitar via the lower strap peg. The design (if you can call it that) is a mixture of two well known circuits. I prefer to use jfets rather than op amps in this case. Is there owt wrong with it?

Looks like a Jfet Gain Stage driving a 3 knob TC section, Jfet Source Follower providing low output impedance...should work fine, assuming the gain stage compensates adequately for the TC losses cleanly enough for your purposes.
I always pre-testjig 'schtuff before installing it in an instrument.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

you mentioned gain, which gives an idea, i built peppermill some time i ago which i've never bothered using, i might insert a tone stack in there and see how that works, it won't fit onto the guitar, but it will do the job, if it works i may make smaller version.

it should work just fine, you might consider adding a 47uf in parallel with the 1k on the first jfet., also, maybe a trim pot instead of the 6.8k in case you have bias issues. Breadboard it first! ;)
