MXR Dist + build prblems

i am just full of non-functioning circuits lately. i built the dist + with dragonfly's layout and i'm just getting mostly white noise and a VERY faint little signal. i audio probed, found i get signal to the IC, but back at the input resistor, i get none?!?!?! how is that possible?

read the comments below the picutre in the layout gallery.
There is a missing trace cut and one of the comments tell where to put it.
I had the same problem till i read that then it worked great.

Quote : sounds great, BUT, be aware there is a mistake in this layout. there needs to be a break between the +1uf cap (fourth row up from bottom) and the 1m resistor directly below the IC. If you do that, this layout will work great.

Me three.  I had this thing non-working on my bench for 3 months until I happened upon the comments.  I guess I could have looked up the schematic to verify the layout

well, i made that cut but maybe it isn't solid. i'll check it out...
