deluxe sparkle boost, 2nd try

hey guys.  i tried another deluxe sparkle boost from scratch on vero.

this time, i get the "boost" side working great with loads of boost.  the "gain" section however has no boost at all.  when it is engaged, the LED comes on and it passes signal, but there is NO gain boost at all.

when i turn the gain knob down, the volume decreases, but with the gain knob dimed i just get unity gain.  in other words  i get no "extra" boost with the "gain" sideof the pedal turned on.

i have checked and double checked all of my connections and wiring, and then had a friend with fresh "eyes" check it again.

we can't see anything wrong.

PLEASE HELP!

ps- we are using dragonfly's vero layout.

or am i using it wrong? 

i assumed that the vloume side was a boost and the gain side added aditional boost.

is this the intention?

Hi my understanding is that The gain does not add boost but adds dirt.
This what make's the sparkle boost a little piece of gold

right.  i see that now.  for some reason i was under the wrong impression.  now i have mutated it into something i am super into!
