Hi!

I've seen people here using some enclosures that are about the same size as a 1590B, bust a bit taller. That way is possible to have the pots overlapping the in/out jacks.
Can someone point me out what enclosures are those and where to find them (preferably in Europe).

Thanks.

P.S.: I'll try to find one of those enclosures I'm talking about and post a pic.

Heh- funny thing is- the first time I got the 125B I was expecting 1590B size, so the first thing I thought was"HEY! These are too tall!". It wasn't until later that I realised that tall is an advantage... Gotta think in 3d sometimes...

Alot of guys like the 125B alot and I can certainly see it's advantages but, it still seems "too tall" to me.
And what about the challenge of making everything fit inside a 1590B ?   :icon_confused:  :icon_lol:

A very popular enclosure for boosts and Fuzzes I hear.
It measures 4.7" x 2.4" x 1.6" I've used the ribs to hold boards vertically it's so deep.
Isn't this what R.G.'s describes in his modular thread? Little boards stacked vertically in a SB125B.

The closest Hammond equivalent is 1590N1 at 4.7 x 2.6 x 1.4

On the side for the SB 125B I will say that when finished,
the footswitch ends up very close in height to that of a B*ss pedal and that has
worked out well for me. Minor ergonomics on a tightly packed pedal board.
I have no idea why I spelled B*ss that way but I saw Puretube do it. :icon_wink:

I still have this photo comparison of a Hammond 1590B and SB 125B enclosures on my photo dump
so here it is.

It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.
Maybe I can afford one, if I do a little less drinking. - Fred Eaglesmith

That's a GREAT size box, stops things from being too cramped and you can fit 3-4 knob builds
in them easily.
The height is perfect when between Boss/Ibanez pedals too :D

I use two enclosures.

Retex RI413, which is the size of an MXR enclosure
Retex RI414, which is an oversized version and must be close in size to the 125B.

Both are very nice, sturdy, and are "ribbed" in the inside

Where do you buy them, Xavier?

There are also those newer enclosures that Electro-Harmonix is using which are deeper than a 1590BB.

A deeper BB would be awesome!
