This really surprises me, because everybody around here seemed to be etching with ferric chloride. Used the Clhoric acid and hydric peroxide because that's what I use as alternative. The guy in the electronics store who told me about this method also said ferric chloride was 'from the days'. No brownish sludge in the etching after you're done.


Maybe the whole etching bath process is not necessary for boxes. Maybe even you could apply the etchant with a brush and avoiding the etchant eating through the toner because they need not come into contact with the etchant. If Mark's talking about etching times of 3minutes or less...
