baking enclosures...safety tips?

what precautions should i be taking? also, whats the typical timing process for a paint-design-gloss finish?
no longer the battle of midway...(i left that band)...

i hate signatures with gear lists/crap for sale....

i am a wah pervert...ask away...

I usually go 30 min @ 200F per coat. Ventilation and burning yourself are probably the two big saftey concerns. Although I wouldn't do it in an oven you bake pies with.

As mentioned by others, you shouldn't be baking painted pedals in the same oven you cook with. Even if you aired the oven after use the chemicals in the paint vapour adhere to the walls of the oven. Not so good for your health!  :o It's probably best if you can pick up a small toaster oven (usually for fairly cheap) to use specifically for baking your creations.
