i was reading about some tone mods for amps and pedals in hopes of taming the low end on my friend's valve standard.

there are TONS of mods listed for the smaller valve jr, but i can't find squat for the valve standard, and i haven't yet gotten a schematic.

anywho, i was reading that you could strap a high pass filter to the lugs of a master volume.

you can see the diagram i am refering to here:
http://www.diystompboxes.com/cnews/mods.html

it is just below the bit about the diodes.  in the diagram, they are actually making a lowpass filter with a .01 or .02 cap.  i figure with a 470pf or maybe a .001 cap it would be a high pass filter...?

assuming i am correct (which i rarely am), which lug on the master volume does the whole thing attach to?
in the face of you all i stand defiant - subhumans

Just a bit further down the page is this,  which is the way it's wired.
