Our lead guitarist recently bought an expensive lead fitted with those Neutrik 'silent' plugs. It's been nothing but trouble - too often it remains silent when plugged in!

Phil, I just posted it to remind people that Rapid sell them.  I've never tried them so can't comment.  Probably never will unless they do right angled versions (the burdon of playing a Jazzmaster & Jagmaster).
