Hey!
I´m looking for an old style basic tremolo which doesn´t have too many knobs and weird sounds but isn´t too chobby.
So I decided to built EA. There are two improved/modified version; GGG and Runoffgrooves somewhat simplier version, which sounds pretty good according to sound sample.
They have also PCB layouts.
There are some differencies like pot and resistor values and number of trannies.
GGG layout seems to me a bit better.

So my question is: does anybody have experience both version or soundsample of the GGG version?

I have had TR-2, Nobels TR-X and Ibanez tremolos but I want to build my own. I don´t have commercial pedals any more! ;D
Sorry for my louzy english :icon_redface:

there were some very nice clips posted by Dragonfly a while back in this thread discussing the Tremulus Lune .vs. the EA trem

very impressive. but I've allready etched a layout for the lune here (and have got an LDR that I need to use for something), I just need to round up all those pots  :icon_razz:

the runoffgroove version seems to be the improved one, based off the others (the modifications are listed right there on the page http://runoffgroove.com/eatremolo.html)
a couple of mods for it are also listed on the layouts gallery on here (just search for "EA tremolo")

The Layout in my gallery is for the ROG version of the EA trem.
You can find it right here>>>>>http://aronnelson.com/gallery/album15  ;D

Hi The Surgeon,
I can't say anything about the lune as I haven't built it, but I have built the EA using the runoffgroove version and it works good.
You even get a pulsing LED that indicates its speed. One downside is the slight lack of depth but there is mods for that, just search.
One that you may be interested in is Slacker's trem from the August's FX-X comp HERE (has sound samples there too).
I'm just about to build this one and it only has one knob!

Thanks Mark, I definitely go for that ROG version, very nice layout in your gallery!
Tremulus has good soft sound, but also others which are not useful for me.
I want to keep things simple.

Slack trem is also interesting, sounds real good but quite rectangular.

Thank you guys!
