Well, Ive just finished assembling the EA Tremolo circuit from Runoffgroove.com.  Its a great build.  Nice, "vintage" smooth tremolo, a lot like you would find on an old Fender amp.  I used all metal film resistors, and as many film caps as possible.  It is DEAD quiet, and I think this has MUCH more to do with the design than with what type of parts were used in it.  The left stompswitch is a half-speed switch, as listed in the gallery somewhere.  Search EA tremolo and it will come up.  The pulsing LED is Awesome!  I used a super bright blue LED from ...radioshack, and it worked out great.  Biased to 4.75V on the drain of Q1.  Does NOT get choppy sounding, and I could use a bit faster rate.  Any suggestions?  I like how the volume doesnt bottom out at the lowest part of wave.  It doesnt sound like its being turned on and off every time it sweeps, and this lends to a nice smooth sound.  I think it would be cool if people post any modifications they prefer in this circuit.  I think everyone who has worked on this circuit and refined it did a great job.  Worth building, to say the least.  Here are some pictures.  The enclosure came from the good people at www.pedalpartsplus.com, custom drilled and powdercoated for a sweet price.

On to the Professor Tweed!!!

Congrats!
Nice job and my favorite Trem circuit.
I like it better than the Trem Lune but, that's just a matter of opinion and we won't go there.  :icon_razz:

More speed: change the trio of 1uF caps to .82uF or .68uF ...i believe you can also omit the 1k resistor in front of the speed pot to get a bit more...

more chop/depth: lower the value of the 68k resistor off the "depth" pot.
