Kay Tremolo Distortion Problem

Hey,

First of all id like to thank this forum and its members for all its great work and information! Ive learnt so much from it!

But down to business!

Built my Kay Tremolo and basically im getting some tremolo-ish "under-currents" but basically it sounds like a bad low volume distortion.

Subbed in 2N5088's for the 3 2SC828P trannies on the right and a BC108C for the 2SC828R  - maybe these subs are incorrect?



Any help would be much appreciated,

I built mine from the Dragonfly layout in the gallery ... 2 years ago.
I used all 5089's IIRC !
Try that and check the pinout ... did you perf it or use a layout ?
