Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone who knows alot about Tycos could help me.

1) Were there any Tycos produced using Carb Comp resistors? Earley ones?
2) Is it correct that the "original" Octavias that Rodg M. built before the tycos were around, that the tyco was based on (lsupposedly), had to have been Carb Comp?

I can't find anything online about it.

Thank you folks!

dont focus on the compostion of the resistors, you'll find yourself with a headache before long.

I've already read that article, I just want the info because I'm curious. Its not car film vs. Car comp, it just history I'm concerned with.

hmmm...thanks for the reply. About when did carbon comps usage drop off (due to car film) in general?
