AX84 High octane's preamp section STOMPBOX

Hi, I was looking at AX84 projects and found the HO very interesting, has anyone already built the preamp section into a pedal?
it has exactly the same topology as the hoffman tube preamp and the matchless hotbox...

its been done i believe. if i'm not mistake, it didnt have good results  

issues with noise because it was so high gain. wiring would be much tougher in a stomp box.

It's basically a jazzed up Marshall 2203/2204 preamp, the basis for many high gain amp circuits and etc. No reason you couldn't put that in a pedal if you wanted to.

Thanks for your reply, yes its exactly the same topology as the marshall 2203 preamp, any advice for making it as quiet as possible?

Yes it worked very well, I will build a 2203 preamp, Im very satisfied with the tone..
