Rudimentary "I fried my pedal" question?

Been a bit sleep deprived lately, and managed to accidently and briefly plug my Line 6 FM4 adapter (9V AC) into the daisy chain for my pedalboard. The only thing that seemed effected was my favorite OD pedal, the Nobels ODR1. Bypassed signal works, and the LED lights when switched on, but no OD signal. I know I've read what to look for in this scenario, but I can't recall right now, and have had no luck searching the archives.

Any help appreciated

If there's a reverse diode across the rails where the power connections are made, that's the thing to replace.  If it fried, time to stick in one with a higher power rating (if your AC supply has a fuse).

Sorry.  Early morning, you said the bypass signal works.  Is there a shematic on line?

if i am not Mistaken i believe nobels posts Their schematics on their website

I could only find 'manuals', which don't contain schematics.  Please post link if you know otherwise.

An Opamp OD in the realm of Tubescreamer ..or?
at any rate if you can see the opamp, you can take voltages.
Could be the diode fried...check/replace it.
Possible the electrolytics and opamp saw some voltage they didn't like.

Hope U didn't use any TransFats in the frying   :P
TF's are illegal in NewYork.
Either way, shouldn't have any e-coli remaining.
Check for shorted caps if U did the ol' reverse polarity thingie.... :-\
And, U R probably gonna need another opamp  :P

Technically, that's only if he fried his pedal in a restaurant!  :o

click on "support" from the Nobels main page... then you'll see a schematics link at the top, enter a name and email address and the schematic will load

I'll check the diode in the power section.

Check the voltage across the rails.  If it's normal, then it's possible the diode across the rails went open and failed to protect the rest of the circuit, in which case you're just going to have to methodically go through everything with a meter, and possibly a probe.

If this were me, I'd get rid of the diode across the rails and stick a Schottky in series, even if it means a little bit of 'creative soldering'.
