I've got a few of these and I can't find anything about them.

8 pin IC (looks like a JRC4558 op-amp).

Three lines of ID info:

072D
JRC
3027G

Any info or data sheet would be great. Thank you!

BlueToad

probably NJM072, which looks very much like a tl072. see http://www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/newjapanradio/ae04010.pdf for a datasheet.

If it isn't broken, take it apart and fix it!

No I don't think it is. What little I could pull up is that it might be some sort of transducer?

JHS

It's a JRC 072B dual opamp w slewrate of 20V/us, they manufacture a BD version w a slewrate of 14 too.
You can download the datasheet for both as pdf from the manufacturer (New Japan Radiocompany). 3037G is the manufacturing-lot-no.

I found it. JRC072D basically a TL072. Sorry I have been working on little sleep the past few days...
