Ultrafuzz & warping stuff...

Recently I built an XXL clone as I was very impressed by the samples I've heard at Tech21 site.
Very good sound the project shows, but not in anyway close to the warping side of things I've heard from that site.
I tested a lot of double OpAmps, even those indicated, but no great "warp" results.

i think it could be, as TS one time was, a basis for a lot of interesting "warping" projects and ideas.
The ZOOM UltraFuzz, an unit I bought some time ago before I bought a ZVex FuzzFactory, has a very interesting colour knob that gives the kind of shaping I hope to find in "warp" type controls.
Soon I have enough time, I intend to reopen the Ultrafuzz in order to understand how it achieves that colour shaping effect.
If someone is intimate with it's circuitry, let us know something about it.
